Meet Gary W7FG, the one who pretends to do most of the work. Fills Complaint orders, looks for additional manuals, and just enjoys talking to you on the Air or Phone too much. Gary was first licensed in 1962 with the call KN7VAT, later of course K7VAT. Most of the operating has been Chassing DX and Contesting since day one. That has changed now!
Spent 6 years in the Navy as an Electronics Technician, with the last 3 years spent in Morocco where he was licensed as CN8BO. As CN8BO he performed as the first Command Station for AMSAT's OSCAR 6 for Europe and Africa, and was on the Aftrican side of the first Amateur Satellite QSO between AFRICA and North American and Europe. Completed 160 Meter DXCC from Oklahoma in 1986, and made the DXCC honor roll in 1992. Majoritiy of the operation is now on AM and CW using old gear from the 50's. The Photo above shows W7FG trying to move the 1994 Homebrew transmitter which uses a pair of 450TH's modulated by a pair of 833's.
Photo taken in late 80's, with
Daughter Jennifer underneath the operating position, where she was often found playing with her
Dog "Freckles".

Meet Karolena, (Mrs. W7FG) the one who takes and fills most orders, (LEFT) she digs through a file cabinet in the shop. She is dressed in a Cherokee outfit before going to a Navtive American Womens fashion show. (RIGHT) Climbing a wooden ladder, to look at Anasazi ruins, that are about 1400 years old, near where she is originally from in South Eastern Utah. This is where she was raised on the northern fringes of the Navajo Reservation, her first language is of course Navajo. Electronics that our little home business is built around, is about the furtherest thing from her mind or goal in life (OR IT WAS). Karolena's main interests are Shopping for Antiques (That we can't aford or have room to keep) and studying/reading about her Heritage (The way she was raised). Her friends in Oklahoma call her "NAVIOKIE".
Meet the Real Sylvester, Jennifers cat since she was 3 years old.
